    The Data Integrity Specialist will work within Choptank's Accounting Department to verify and ensure all data that is input into the system is correct and in compliance with company procedures by examining records, reports, and documentation.     • Work directly with Accounts Payable to verify Carrier payments for accuracy, ensuring that banking information is correct and current  
    • Verify Legal name changes made by our Carrier partners 
    • Correctly input factoring company data into our systems and verify that we have received all documentation to validate the contract, while making sure carriers are paid in a timely manner  
    • Process claims deductions while working with the loss prevention team 
    • Identify and track errors found in order to determine the thoroughness of our current processes 
    • Continually examine processes and training gaps to make recommendations on how to improve efficiency and accuracy 
    • Provide outstanding customer service both internally and externally 
    • Teamwork! Fill in when needed and help the team

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • 3 years experience with Excel is required
    • A keen sense of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong professional written and oral communication skills (you'll be communicating and representing the company through email and phone all day).
    • Energetic and reliable with regard to schedule as well as meeting demands and goals 
    • Be determined to work in a fast paced, ambitious environment with a team of diverse individuals
    • Be a self starter - You will perform under minimal supervision with time constraints
    • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to meet changing deadlines and priorities
    • Outgoing personality and comfort speaking to strangers on the phone
    • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required
