Customer Clerk



As the Customer Clerk you will support the company by obtaining new customer details and keeping up to date information in our systems for our large customer base. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and communication skills while interacting with each department. 


What you can expect: 


  • Provide customer documentation as requested with a high level of timely service
  • Contact carriers for missing documents and update customer changes as needed while working with the billing department to locate paperwork and resolve issues quickly
  • Obtain new customer details – record in customer file or other areas as needed
  • Update customer changes as needed, while sorting and organizing incoming mail and scanning checks into the bank
  • Sort and organize incoming checks and can them into the bank while providing detailed reports to the Accounts Receivable Clerk 
  • Correct invoices as required and provide data on the number of rebilled invoices 


What we are looking for:


  • Self-directed and conscientious attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP's)
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability be coachable while working in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Strong positive verbal communication skills-face to face and over the phone 
  • Solid computer and math skills especially basic word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Reliable with regard to schedules and meeting work demands and goals 
  • High School Diploma or GED required
